How much does a massage cost in Batumi: prices and what affects them

Our prices for every massage and session length, what affects the cost, and how to save with a package or give a gift certificate.

Massage table with folded towels in a cosy studio room

If you are looking up massage prices in Batumi, you probably want to know two things straight away: how much a session will cost and what exactly you are paying for. Here is a calm, honest breakdown: what affects the price of a massage, what each service costs at Serenity studio, and how to save if you plan to come regularly.

All prices are in Georgian lari (GEL) and are current at the time of publication. If you are not sure which option suits you, just send Pavel, our massage therapist, a message and he will help you choose.

What affects the price of a massage

The cost of a session in any studio comes down to a few simple things. Once you know them, it is easier to choose what you actually need and not pay for what you don't.

Session length

Time is the main factor. Thirty minutes is enough to focus on one area, such as the back and neck. Sixty minutes is the familiar format: enough to work through the whole body at an unhurried pace or to give proper attention to several areas. Ninety minutes is for those who want to take their time and relax more deeply.

Type of massage and area

A session for one area (head and face, legs and feet) and a full-body massage do different jobs. At our studio we have tried to keep pricing simple: most 60-minute sessions cost the same. So you can choose based on how you feel and what you need today, not on price.

What is included

The price covers more than the massage itself. It also covers a setting where you can truly unwind: a cosy room, quiet music and aromatherapy. The studio has disposable slippers, towels, a shower, tea and water, so you don't need to bring anything.

30, 60 or 90 minutes: which to choose

30 minutes

The most affordable option at 60 GEL. It is available for the back, neck and shoulders massage. Handy when you are short on time and your neck and shoulders feel stiff as a board after a working day.

60 minutes

The all-round format. It is enough to work through the whole body calmly or to spend real time on one or two areas. If this is your first visit, starting with an hour is a good idea.

90 minutes

The difference from a one-hour session is 35 GEL, and you get an extra half hour. This is the choice for those who want to relax deeply and not feel that the session ended too soon. It is especially nice on a day off or on holiday, when there is nowhere to rush.

How to save: packages of 5 and 10 sessions

If you come for massage regularly, a package works out cheaper:

  1. 5 sessions — 10% off.
  2. 10 sessions — 20% off.

For example, with one-hour sessions at 100 GEL, five sessions on a package come to 450 GEL instead of 500, and ten come to 800 GEL instead of 1,000. Packages are arranged at the studio, and you can leave a request on the packages and gift certificates page. It is easiest to confirm the details when you sign up.

How often it makes sense to come is covered in our article How often should you get a massage.

Gift certificates: when you want to give someone a rest

A massage makes a lovely present when you would rather give time for oneself, quiet and care than yet another thing.

  • A certificate can be for an amount — 100, 200, 300 GEL or any other sum — or for a set number of sessions.
  • It is a beautifully designed certificate with a personal code that you can print or send as a link.
  • It is valid for 12 months, so the recipient has plenty of time to pick a convenient day.
  • Payment is made at the studio: cash, card or bank transfer.

You can request a certificate on the same gifts page.

How to book

You can book online on the website, where you can also see available times, by phone at +995 598 56 02 42, or on WhatsApp. Bookings are accepted at least 2 hours before the session.
